Nordmeccanica SpA is a family-owned Company established 1978 in Piacenza, leader in manufacturing coating, laminating and metallizing machinery.
Nordmeccanica is confirmed as a global partner, boasting a market share in excess of 65% in flexible packaging. Currently the Group operates through five plants: 3 are located in Italy (in Piacenza), one in China (Shanghai), one in USA (Long Island, New York). Three branches provide services: India (Mumbai); Argentina (Buenos Aires), New York (USA), over 80 countries are served by local agents.
The Group employs a total of over 300 people.
Worldwide we count in over 3800 machines installed, 3.200 of them sold in the past 20 years. Turnover has increased from 7 million euro at the end of the 90s to over 100 million euro.
Growth is explained by the continued development in high technology and by the expansion of the product line and the global market presence.

Products
Nordmeccanica Group laminators and coaters produce multi-layer packaging mainly used for food and pharmaceuticals, intended for applications up to the most demanding in the industry. The multilayer machines serve as well high-tech industry such as solar panels, technical clothing and certain specific types of packaging.
Nordmeccanica manufacturers High Tech metallizers for paper and plastic to serve food and non-food application. Protecting products from light (UV), moisture, gases, and also for the creation of security holograms and for the production of labels.
