Laborplast has been dealing with the regeneration of rigid PVC for over 60 years, used in the production of compounds, for extrusion and injection moulding, and cores for reels, and today plays a leading role in these sector both at Italian and European level. With 30,000 tons processed in 2021, Laborplast is one of the largest companies in Italy for production level and for research and innovation. The regenerated PVC compound has become Laborplast's core business in recent years. The strength of this product is the possibility of proposing specific formulations on the needs of the customer. The compounds thus obtained are suitable for extrusion processes (of pipes and profiles in general) and injection molding. Laborplast PVC pipes (cores) are among the main productions of the company. Their field of application is extremely varied: about 90% of the pipes are intended for the winding of industrial flexible packaging, agricultural films, fabrics and geotextile non-wovens; the remaining part of the market is divided between the construction sector and that of brushes and abrasive manufacturers. Pvc semi-finished products, finally, thanks to excellent performance, good dimensional stability, high resistance to chemicals and weather, excellent dielectric and fire behavior and their easy workability are used for various applications: gears, screws, fittings; supports for galvanic baths, flanges, pump bodies, valves, insulating bodies for the electrical compartment, furniture components.
